The fields of planetary and exoplanetary sciences are at the forefront of contemporary astronomy but applications of modern machine learning are still relatively rare. Planetary science has a plethora of high quality data sets that are ideally suited for modern AI approaches. Being part of the Turing community allows me to further promote AI development in this exciting field.
