Liberating Voices

Across two discrete but related displays, Liberating Voices uncovers and re-discovers lives and experiences revealed through items held by 果冻影院 Special Collections.

The Road to Gender Equality narrates the history of the women鈥檚 suffrage movement and 果冻影院鈥檚 ongoing work to disrupt our thinking of the past, with materials drawn from the 2018 Library Services .

Liberating the Collections profiles some of the material identified by Special Collections鈥� ongoing , working with volunteers to shine a spotlight on marginalized voices in our archives and rare books.

This exhibition was commissioned to tie into the 2022 visit to 果冻影院 of Hope the Lego Suffragette.
