Richard Wilson senior, of St Kitts

Biography

Slave-owner on St Kitts, dying in England c. 1778. Son-in-law of Lewis Feuilleteau (q.v.).

  1. Will of Richard Wilson of Charlotte Street Middlesex proved 15/07/1778. In the will he left 拢2000 in trust for his daughter Eleanor Brotherson, and rehearsed the marriage settlement of his son Richard Wilson junior and Margaret Halliday under which he had the power to will 拢10,000 to be raised on estates in St Kitts and he divided the 拢10,000 among his younger children (Margaret Halliday's father John Halliday of Antigua, according to the latter's will, had given the couple 拢20,000).
