Policy Research Unit in Healthy Weight

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Policy Research Unit in Healthy Weight provides听world-class expertise in听working with children and young people, food policy, economic modelling and research on environment and听behaviour change.听The unit will build the evidence base to help reduce the prevalence and burden of obesity.

The Healthy Weight Policy Research Unit (HWPRU) aims to deliver the evidence needed to help the government develop and implement policies that support people to maintain and achieve a healthy weight across the life-course, and reduce the prevalence and burden of obesity.
