The PGTA Hub contains teaching opportunities, policies and procedure, resources, case studies and more to help ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº PGTAs develop their teaching at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Arena Professional Development for PGTAs

All PGTAs must undertake appropriate development activities to support their teaching practice. ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Arena Centre for Research-Based Education offers a scheme for such training and development of PGTAs, called ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Arena One. Ìý

There are three steps in this developmental pathway:

  • ÌýÌýÌý Gateway workshop - mandatory for all PGTAs
  • ÌýÌýÌý The Teaching Associate Programme (TAP) - optional
  • ÌýÌýÌý Application for HEA Fellowship - optional

The Doctoral Skills Development Programme has also other development opportunities that can support and enhance students' teaching roles.
