The Bartlett is number 1 in the world in 2019 QS World Rankings by Subject

The Bartlett has been ranked the top institution in the world for Architecture / Built Environment Subjects in the renowned QS World Rankings.

The Bartlett has moved up the QS听World Rankings by Subject to reach the number one spot for Architecture / Built Environment.听With a score of听98/100 overall (up from 97.1 last year), The Bartlett has overtaken听MIT (The Massachusetts Institute of Technology), who were last year's global number 1. We also scored 100 for听academic reputation听and 92.7 for employer reputation.

The听news comes as the faculty is celebrating 100 years of The Bartlett name, and 100 years of global impact, with a听story听published every day for 100 days on听the campaign website 听and events running throughout the year. Welcoming the timely achievement, Professor Alan Penn, Dean of The Bartlett, said:

The QS ranking is the most comprehensive worldwide assessment of university subjects - they reflect the opinions of academic colleagues and employers from all over the world as well as looking at citations to our research, and so are really quite robust. I am really pleased to see The Bartlett Faculty achieving the number one ranking in architecture and the built environment as we celebrate our centenary.鈥

The result is听one of a number of successes for 果冻影院听in the 2019听QS World Rankings by Subject: the university听has 10 subject areas ranked in the global top 10. Aside from The Bartlett鈥檚 number one spot, other highlights include听果冻影院听Institute of听Education, which has retained the听number one spot for Education, Archaeology, where 果冻影院听takes the number three spot, and Anthropology, where 果冻影院 is ranked fifth.

Published annually, the QS World University Rankings cover 48 subjects by collecting opinions from thousands of academics and employers. They also听analyse听millions of research papers and citations over a five-year period to听measure the impact of publications from institutions,听as well as their听productivity.
