The breadth and depth of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s research expertise underpins our capacity to fulfil our mission as London’s Global University.

In addition to ensuring that we maintain our excellent research within established disciplines, we also form cross-disciplinary teams from across ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº, whose diverse expertise enables them to develop novel insights into the profound, complex and systemic problems facing humanity.Ìý

We aim to devise practical, equitable and sustainable solutions in collaboration with those best positioned to implement them: policymakers, practitioners, businesses, community groups and others.

This distinctive cross-disciplinary approach has become deeply embedded in our university’s research culture. It has been further strengthened by the expansion of both the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Grand Challenges and the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Research Domains.Ìý

The development of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº East also exemplifies our commitment to transform how the world is understood, how knowledge is created and how global problems are solved.Ìý
