This is an event organised by ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Translational Research Office and the Biologics Therapeutic Innovation Networks* (TINs).

In-person only.

Who shall attend this event:
¹û¶³Ó°Ôº early career researchers who are interested in basic and translational research are encouraged to attend.

Why should you attend this event:
Come and join us to learn about ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s emerging research into biologics therapies and the support available around you!

In this event you will see fantastic examples of how therapeutic tools such as monoclonal antibodies, peptides, and oligonucleotides could be used to address high medical needs and could revolutionise patients’ lives. There will also be the opportunity to know about the resources made available from the Translational Research Office, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Business, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Innovation & Enterprise, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Technology Fund, the Research Coordination Office and the Academic Careers Office to navigate the complex translational ecosystem at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

Most importantly we will showcase the work of early careers researchers, encourage new collaborations and provide an insight into how to translate biomedical discoveries into viable therapeutics.

Agenda

The final event programme will be circulated to attendees in advance.

*About Therapeutic Innovation Networks (TINs):
¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Translational Research Office (TRO) established the Therapeutic Innovation Networks (TINs) to create a ‘critical mass’ of academic researchers and industry professionals around six modalities: i) Small Molecules; ii) Cell & Gene Therapies; iii) Biologics; iv) Re-purposing; v) Devices & Diagnostics; vi) Regenerative Medicine. The TINs’ unique approach has been pioneering in providing support for ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº academics around pilot data collection, translational training, funding opportunities and multidisciplinary collaborations across institutions, partner hospitals and the industry.

Join us today:
We invite you and your colleague to join TINs. By subscribing to our newsletter, you will automatically be registered as a TINs member and be the first to receive our news and event invitations.

Capability Resource:
Looking for collaborations or a particular skill set? The TINs have created an online, internal portal (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº sign-in required) to showcase the breadth of expertise across the TINs modalities at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº and our partner hospitals, aiming to facilitate multidisciplinary collaborations and capabilities mapping.

 - To stay aware of researchers working in your research area, identify and stimulate collaboration opportunities with like-minded individuals.

- To get your capabilities visible across ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº experts and potentially external partners facilitated by TRO, leading to collaboration and funding opportunities.
