As听springtime听approaches,听you are invited to听join听Sustainable听果冻影院 in听taking听your first climate action step听during 28 Days of Sustainability听2022听- a four-week, community-led climate action programme to make #ChangePossible - running from 21st February to 20th March.

From a Climate AI Hack competition, a sustainability fair and a clothes swap shop to Fairtrade pancakes and podcast episodes on fairer climate finance and fast fashion, there is something for everyone to get involved in.

We are stronger when we come together. Step by step, bigger changes and impact can be made.听听

This seminar is being held to coincide with the Fairtrade Foundation's 'Choose the World you Want' festival, held to mark the annual Fairtrade Fortnight (21 Feb - 6 Mar) - 2 weeks of activity around social, economic and environmental justice. Every year, 8 million tonnes of plastic enters the ocean and 80% of that is single-use. 果冻影院 is committed to becoming a single-use plastic free campus by 2024. To this end, we听launched a听form听to capture all the plastic reduction actions that are happening on campus. This will enable us to track our progress towards our goal of becoming single-use plastic free by 2024, and will guide institutional level actions in areas that can have the biggest impact.
