A transcript is an official record of your confirmed academic results and can be used for third party verification purposes, e.g. job applications, further study / visa applications, solicitor checks.
Final-year students will receive their degree certificate and a copy of their official transcript to their home address within 3 months from the date of award.
Current students, final-year students, affiliate students and alumni can order an e-transcript which is an official electronic version of their transcript and which can be used for third party verification purposes. Final-year students can also download a self-serve e-transcript from Portico.听听

Getting your e-transcript
E-transcript services for current students, final-year students, affiliate students and alumni are outlined below.听听听
Please note that the e-transcript service is only available to students who have an electronic academic record.
E-transcripts for current听students
You can order your official e-transcript via the . You can request for an e-transcript to be sent directly to a third party, or if you wish to receive the e-transcript yourself, you should enter your own email address in the third party contact field.
Current students are entitled to one free e-transcripts per academic year. If you require additional e-transcripts please place another order using the paid option.

E-transcripts for final-year students
You will receive your听degree certificate and a copy of your听official transcript to your听home address within 3 months from the date of award.听
You will be able to download a copy of your Statement of Award from听听after you have received your official results email from Academic Services.听Further details will be provided in your results email.
If you do not have an award on results day due to the Marking and Assessment Boycott, you will still be able to download / order an e-transcript containing your marks as approved by the Exam Board. Any missing marks will show as 鈥淢X鈥� on your transcript and the accompanying Transcript Rubric will reflect that this mark was awarded due to no fault of your own.听听
As soon as missing marks become available and awards are confirmed, you will be notified by email that an updated e-transcript is available to download / order.听
Self-service e-transcripts听
You can download an e-transcript of your confirmed results/award directly from Portico the day after your results are released. You will be notified by e-mail when your e-transcript is available to download.听
Self-serve e-transcripts will be available for you to download for 3 months. After this, you can order e-transcripts from the 听at a cost of 拢15.00 per transcript. View e-transcript order FAQs for further information.听听
Note: If you are graduating with a PPE or a PPE with Social Data Science degree, the e-transcript self-serve cannot be utilised. 听Please request a transcript via the .
E-transcripts to be sent directly to a third party听听
Some third parties require 果冻影院 to send e-transcripts directly to them e.g. as part of Visa compliance and Confirmation of Acceptance to Study (CAS) checks.听听听
You can request an e-transcript to be sent directly to a third party via the .听Transcripts are subject to a charge of 拢15.00 per. If you are a recent graduate, you are entitled to transcripts free of charge for 3 months from date of award. View e-transcript order FAQs for further information.
E-transcripts for affiliate students听
An e-transcript of your results will be sent to your home university within 4 weeks of your results being approved by the Examination Board. 听
If you are an independent affiliate student, you will also be sent an email from 果冻影院 Student Records to confirm your results.
Only full term and Term 2 affiliate students will be able to view their results on once they have been confirmed.
Note:听Affiliate students are not required to request an e-transcript to be sent to their home institution. We are provided details of your home institutions contact information automatically and we dispatch your e-transcript once your full results have been received.
Affiliate students can order one free transcript from the online store after their transcript has been dispatched to their home institution.
E-transcript for alumni students听
We can provide e-transcripts for students who were awarded by 果冻影院 as follows:
- 果冻影院 students who started their programme of study on or after 1 September 2006听
- IOE, 果冻影院鈥檚 Faculty of Education and Society students who were awarded on or after 1 January 2015
If you studied at 果冻影院 before 1 September 2006 you may be eligible for a Statement of Study or Award letter. Please contact studentstatus@ucl.ac.uk to make an enquiry.
If you are studied at the IOE, 果冻影院's Faculty of Education and Society before 1 January 2015, you may be eligible to obtain a transcript which can be sent electronically by placing an order via the . You may also request for a Statement of Study or Award letter. Please contact studentstatus@ucl.ac.uk to make an enquiry.

- How can I place an order for an e-transcript?
You can place an order for an e-transcript on the鈥�.听
- What is the difference between an e-transcript ordered from the e-transcripts online store and a self-serve e-transcript downloaded from Portico?听听
They are the same document.听听
Only final year students can currently download a self-serve e-transcript from Portico and they are only available for download for 3 months, after this, finalists can听also order an e-transcript from the .听听

- How long will it take to process my e-transcript order?听
We aim to process e-transcript orders as soon as possible. 鈥疶he standard processing time is usually within 10听working days.鈥疍uring busy periods (typically July to October) it can take longer.听
Please note:鈥痚-transcript orders are processed in the order they are received, and we cannot expedite orders and do not offer an express service.鈥��

- Can I order a hard copy transcript?听听
No, you can only order e-transcripts. A hard copy of your official transcript will be sent to final-year students within 3 months from the date that their award is conferred by 果冻影院.听听
- Can I order an e-transcript to be sent to myself?听听
Yes, you can do this by entering your own email address on the order form. Note that final-year students can also download e-transcripts directly from Portico.听听
- Can I order more than one e-transcript?听
Yes. You will need to place a separate order for each third party e-transcript request.听
- How will I know when my e-transcript has been sent?听
You will receive a confirmation email once your e-transcript has been sent to the designated third party. This confirms that your e-transcript has been processed. Please do not contact us to chase or follow up your order unless you have a query on the e-transcript.鈥��
- I have a question not covered by the information on this webpage, how can I get help?听听
We are unable to respond to queries chasing up the progress of a transcript within the 10听working day processing time.鈥� If your e-transcript has not been received after 10听working days then you can email us at鈥�transcripts@ucl.ac.uk. Please quote the order number in your email.听
- Can you send additional forms to accompany my e-transcript?听听
The Student Enquiries Centre can send your Statement of Award along with other documents or forms confirming your study at 果冻影院 to a third party for you, such as WES (World Education Services). 鈥�

- Can I order my e-transcript to be sent to WES?
Students who wish to provide verification of their results to World Education Services (WES) should request that their transcript be emailed to submit@wes.org only.听We are currently unable to provide any supplementary information to support your application, but WES are aware of this and have requested that all听transcripts be directed to the submit@wes.org听address and they will听process the application based on the e-transcript supplied.

The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) provides a single comprehensive electronic record which incorporates a transcript and the achievements of a student.
