Biographical Details

After receiving his early education in Cornwall, in 2002 Russell completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Oxford (St John’s College). In 2006 he was admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the same institution, having submitted a thesis entitled Application of Room Temperature Ionic Liquids as Electrochemical Solvents. Between 2006-09 he worked as a Technical Administrator for Penwith Housing Association in Penzance. Russell joined the Department of Statistical Science at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº in late 2010.

Responsibilities

Russell is primarily responsible for managing the curricula of the department’s taught modules and programmes and coordinating all aspects of summative assessment administration within the department.
