The Haldane Events series was initiated in June 2004 to give 'behind the scenes' glimpses of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's academic life to ASCR members and their guests; subsequently, the range was broadened to include readings and music.
The 15th Haldane Event took place on Wednesday 7th December, when Rob Eagle (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Communications) showed "¹û¶³Ó°Ôº: seven decades on film", a compilation of highlights from the UC Film Society archive not screened for many decades, including the incident of the Zebra Crossing, as well as some of the quirkier stories from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº nowadays.
The 15th was the last in the Haldane series - but not the last ASCR event. From 2012 a broader range of events will be held in the Housman Room: further information will follow in the New Year.
