Double congratulations for Dorota Goluch, who not only defended her PhD thesis, 鈥淧ostcolonial Literature in Polish Translation (1970鈥�2010): Difference, Similarity and Solidarity鈥�, but also secured a lectureship at Cardiff University! Dorota鈥檚 joint supervisors were Theo Hermans (果冻影院 Dutch) and Katarzyna Zechenter.

Congratulations to Chris Nicholson on the award of a PhD for his thesis, 鈥淟aw and Estates: The Bohemian Land Ordinance of 1500 in context.鈥� Chris鈥檚 supervisor was Martyn Rady.
