Like previous听Polish听studies听events at SSEES, this event has a workshop format. Speakers will present work in progress. They look forward to receiving friendly听and听detailed feedback from colleagues united by a common interest in Poland, including听Polish听migration, but representing different academic disciplines and combinations of disciplines. The BASEES听Polish听Studies听Group is an international group which 鈥榓ims to enhance discussion on critical perspectives emerging in the field of听Polish听studies.The group seeks to foster research collaboration听and听enhance exchanges of ideas听and听expertise.鈥 Looking towards the future, one of our main aims is to support dialogue between researchers at different stages of their academic careers.听听
This year鈥檚 conference will be held online on Zoom.听If you would like to register and receive a Zoom link, email Anne White, Professor of听Polish听Studies, SSEES, at听anne.white@ucl.ac.uk听by 5 September 2023. We welcome attendees who are not affiliated to any university; however, please let Anne know why you鈥檇 like to come to the event. The conference will not be recorded, since the papers present work in progress.
