Tatiana听Garipova听has been听teaching听Russian to adult students of varied ages and learning styles at Beginner, Intermediate and听Advanced levels听in the UK since听2006.听She has also taught Russian to听FCDO听staff both one-to-one and in small听groups on highly demanding听intensive courses for听11 years. She has听a BA in Linguistics and Translation from听Krasnoyarsk听State University听(Russia)听and an听MA in the History of Japan from听Kanazawa听University (Japan). In 2008 Tatiana completed听a teacher training course听(Level 5鈥疍ET,鈥痯reviously听DTLLS).听She听joined SSEES听evening courses programme in 2010.听
Tatiana loves teaching, and she has always been fascinated by how quickly people start expressing themselves in a new language, progressing from basic phrases to a sophisticated听conversation.听She听enjoys听communicating with people and learning about them as individuals 鈥� their听interests, views, and life stories.听Tatiana听is听a keen language learner herself.听She completed a master鈥檚 degree entirely in听Japanese and she听understands what it means to learn a听language very different to your own.听听
Tatiana听likes听running (about 25 miles a week)听and making clay sculptures.鈥�
