Emma Hart has been appointed to create an artwork for integration into the primary public entrance of the 果冻影院 East Pool Street West building, on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
This is the first commission within a wider programme of public art, permanent and temporary, for the 果冻影院 East development. See 果冻影院 News.

Make an Impression - collaboration between the Slade and 果冻影院 Culture
Widening participation project
In its second year, Make an Impression II showcases 86 drypoint and chine-coll茅 prints made by six east London schools and colleges. These were made during a printmaking engagement programme delivered in partnership with 果冻影院 Culture and The Slade School of Fine Art.
Opening its east London campus in 2022, 果冻影院 is working hard to make connections with east London communities in advance. Make An Impression II is one outcome of the printmaking project that shares 果冻影院鈥檚 resources and skills with young artists aged 13-18 to boost confidence, build aspirations, and support applications to 果冻影院.
The printmaking project also supports the career development of 果冻影院 students and alumni: current and former students of the Slade School of Fine Art led outreach workshops and taught the printing techniques to the young artists exhibited.

RGB East: Interactive digital photography programme
RGB East is formed by the Arts-Science partnership of Jo Guile 果冻影院 and Glass student, and Dr Emily Patterson 果冻影院. It explores the relationship between colour, vision and perception. It is sponsored by聽果冻影院鈥檚聽Public Art and Community Engagement Programme 鈥撀�Trellis, Stage 1.听
They have designed a photography-led public engagement activity, which is targeted at people who live in the four boroughs 鈥� Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Walthamstow 鈥� that border the Olympic Park and can be safely carried out while social distancing is in place.听
