果冻影院 Sociology Network Workshop: Sociological Research at 果冻影院听

The purpose of the听workshop听is to facilitate networking among 果冻影院 colleagues听(post-doctoral researchers and above) from across 果冻影院听who are involved in sociological research, and to get a better understanding of听the breadth of听sociology undertaken听at 果冻影院.听We听aim听to generate a discussion about听our respective research, which may spin off to collaborations,听cross-果冻影院 study clusters, Grand Challenges submissions, later events and so on.听听
To facilitate the workshop
- We ask participants to submit听2-3 sentences about their听sociological听research or scholarly expertise, and up to 4 key words. These may be theoretical,听methodological,or your substantive areas of expertise
听 - Colleagues will听then be grouped according to their research specialisms with discussions facilitated by USN coordinating group members.The smaller groups are intended to facilitate more in-depth discussions
听 - Depending on numbers, there听may be the opportunity to join more than one discussion group.听In the larger group,we will consider across group synergies, ideas for future events and collaborations, and whether there is an emerging or possible way of defining 鈥樄秤霸� sociology鈥�
