Synopsis


Co-convened by Dr Claudia Sternberg and Dr Uta Staiger, the European Institute delivers an innovative, practice-informed module for the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Department of Political Science’s MSc in European Politics and Policy. The module provides students with an opportunity to learn directly from policy-makers and practitioners working in EU policy, law and diplomacy. Practice-led teaching is complemented by bespoke skills sessions, offering students the opportunity to develop policy briefings, elevator pitches and blogs for a general audience. Starting this year (2023), the module will also include a three day study visit to Brussels, including visits to the European Parliament, the European External Action Service, the UK Mission to the EU and Politico, among others.
