Biography

I joined the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº as an Associate Lecturer in Public Policy in 2023.Ìý

Since 2020, I have been a PhD Candidate in European Public Policy at the University of Surrey (UoS) as a Doctoral College full-scholarship recipient. My thesis studies agenda setting and policy formulation dynamics at the EU level, focusing on pharmaceutical policymaking. I have received fieldwork funding from the University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES) and from the UK Political Studies Association (PSA). I hold an MSc in Public Policy and Administration (with Distinction) and a BSc in Government and Economics from LSE.Ìý

I have teaching experience in political science, research methods and public policy. In 2022 I received the UoS prize for Innovative Teaching and in 2023 I was named the Postgraduate Researcher of the Year across the UoS Faculty of Arts and Sciences. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.Ìý

Research

My research interests centre around policy process dynamics at the national and EU-level, public health, digital governance and crisis management. I explore the interactions of actors and institutions across policymaking stages and levels of government, which shape public policy change. I am keen on building and refining public policy frameworks through application-driven contextual adaptations. I engage in both qualitative and quantitative designs, and I have developed multiple original datasets through interactions with policy stakeholders.Ìý
