Biography
I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Political Science, as well as in the听果冻影院听Department of European Social and Political Studies. Before joining 果冻影院, I听obtained my听PhD in political science at Stony Brook University,听New York. A native of Paderborn, Germany, I听studied Politics and Administration at the University of Konstanz听and the University of Pavia,听Italy, and worked for the听Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.
Research
My research interests cover several substantive fields, including political economy, comparative politics, public opinion and elections, as well as education and social policy. To answer questions in these fields, I use听quantitative methods, with a special focus on time series analysis and methods for causal inference using observational data.

Teaching
I teach听the MSc core module on 鈥楶ublic Policy Economics and Analysis鈥�, as well as two undergraduate modules on 鈥楶olitical Economy鈥� and 鈥榃elfare Politics鈥�.
I am interested in supervising undergraduate, Master鈥檚听and PhD theses (using quantitative methods) in any of the research fields listed above.
