Infant & Child Language (ICL) Research Centre

How does your child learn to speak?       How does your child learn to read?
Learning a new language may seem incredibly difficult for adults, yet most children master this task almost effortlessly for their native language/s. Researchers at the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Infant and Child Language (ICL) Research Centre carry out a variety of exciting studies to find out how most children do this so easily, and why some children find it much more difficult.

We work with children from age 3-months to 16 years.
