Context and Background

Following a comprehensive review and benchmarking of our Admissions Services in 2021, areas for improvement were identified, leading to the launch of the Admissions Transformation programme, aimed at enhancing our admissions services and delivering an exceptional experience for both students and staff. Over the past couple of years, significant changes and improvements have been implemented in Admissions policies and processes, including deferrals, English language requirements, etc.

Programme update

As we approach the final phase of the programme, efforts are now underway to replace our current admissions system.ÌýProgramme updates have been disseminated via staff Town Halls and through our reference groups which holdÌýrepresentation across departments in both academic and professional service colleagues. See for further information.

ATP's Town Hall events in May were well attended and the presentation included some context setting for transforming the Admissions service and replacing ¹û¶³Ó°ÔºSelect, as well as a high-level overview of the new system from our partner PwC. .Ìý

As the programme advances through to the next phase of this system build, the focus is now on assessing change readiness to ensure a smooth transition to the new admissions system when the system is launched. Discussions and assessment of our readiness are underway and a decision on whether we can proceed towards a September launch will be made in June.
