In response to the recently published new hybrid working guidance, trainining is available to staff with line-management responsibilities with Disabled and Neurdodivergent staff to support them with awareness and implementation of reasonable adjustments.Ìý

The training will be delivered by Dr Lizzy Allman (EDI Manager and Disability Equity Lead), and will cover the following areas:

• The Social Model of Disability and the importance of reasonable adjustments
• The law and the legal requirements for reasonable adjustments
• How to provide appropriate support for Disabled and Neurodivergent staff
• Support available at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº for line managers and Disabled and Neurodivergent staff

The sessions will be 2 hours with a short break midway, andÌýwill be run via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

• Wednesday October 19th 10:30am-12:30pm
• Thursday 3rdÌýNovember 2:00pm-4:00pm
• Wednesday 23rdÌýNovember 2:00pm-4:00pm
• Tuesday 6thÌýDecember 10:30am-12:30pm
• Thursday 15thÌýDecember 10:30am-12:30pm

Please note that places are limited to 25 per session. We expect sessions to be oversubscribed, so please do not register unless you are confident of being able to honour your booking. Anyone registering after capacity has been reached, will be placed on a waiting list.
