How do COVID-19 vaccines work and are they safe?

We asked some of 果冻影院鈥檚 public health experts to explain how the COVID-19 vaccines work and how we know they鈥檙e safe.

How do we know the vaccines are safe?

COVID-19 vaccines are being offered to everyone aged 18 or over at local sites run by GPs or community pharmacies, at larger vaccination centres and in some hospitals. Some local NHS areas are also working with partners to set up 鈥減op up鈥 clinics.

Remember to register with a GP to make sure you鈥檙e invited to get your COVID-19 vaccine as soon as you're eligible. Students听can find out more about how to do this on the Student Support and Wellbeing website.
