Today ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº has published new step-by step guidance for what to do if you, a student, or someone you manage may have coronavirus.

Central to our approach is , our new online reporting tool for staff and students to notify us if you think you may have coronavirus.

You must stay at home and use ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Connect to Protect if:

  • you think you have coronavirus;

  • you are waiting for the results of a coronavirus test;
  • or you have been contacted by NHS Track and Trace and asked to self-isolate.

When you log-in, you will be asked about any symptoms you have, if you are being tested for coronavirus, if you are self-isolating, and if you have visited any areas of campus recently. We will use this information to monitor the number and location of any potential coronavirus cases, and take action where necessary to keep our campus as safe as possible.

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Connect to Protect has been created with public health experts and is designed to work alongside . You can find out more and log-in to tell us you think you may have coronavirus on the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº website.

This is designed to complement, not replace, the national testing service. Anyone who tests positive for the virus will be automatically referred to the NHS Test and Trace system as normal.
