The Dawes Centre for Future Crime MSc has launched a new dissertation prize. Apply by 1 August for the chance to win 拢500.
果冻影院 is home to the Dawes Centre for Future Crime 鈥� part of the Department of Security and Crime Science. A core part of the Centre鈥檚 activities involve research projects addressing two central questions:听
鈥⑻� 听What types of crime have or could emerge (and which should we focus on)?
鈥⑻� 听How can we be proactive in preventing or mitigating future threats?
This year,听the Centre has launched the Dawes Centre for Future Crime dissertation prize听鈥� offering students from all faculties at 果冻影院 the chance to win 拢500 for a notable听dissertation that also aligns with the Centre's aims.
Application procedure:
To be considered for the prize, students should send an abstract of their work via email to Dr Bennett Kleinberg by 1 August 2020.
The abstract (max. 200 words) should detail the research question and approach (we are aware the work is not finished yet).
The Centre will then shortlist students and elicit full dissertations by mid September 2020. Applicants will be notified about the outcome by early October 2020.
The prize awardees' dissertations will听be publicised on the Centre's website. For any questions, please contact Dr Bennett Kleinberg.
