The Commission of Inquiry (CoI) is holding a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday 16 October

The Commission of Inquiry (CoI) was established by Academic Board (AB) to review reports of problems in 果冻影院鈥檚 governance, decision-making, and strategic direction, and to establish their accuracy and where necessary, to make recommendations for AB to address issues identified.
Following AB鈥檚 meeting of 15 May 2019, the Commission was further given the task of considering听proposed amendments to the Regulations for Management relating to Council鈥檚 Nominations Committee.
The听Commission has so far held discussions with the Provost, the Registrar, the Director of Finance, the Director of Planning, the Chief Operating Officer and the Vice-Provost (Education and Student Affairs). We have upcoming meetings with lay members of Council.
We are now calling a Town Hall meeting to hear the views of members of 果冻影院 on its governance and decision-making. We are particularly interested in colleagues鈥櫶齛ssessment of decision-making processes, consultation, and the听opportunities to contribute to strategies that affect all aspects of academic work. The Town Hall meeting will also be an occasion to report on the work of the Commission so far.
The Town Hall will be held on Wednesday 16 October 1400-1600hrs in the Cruciform Building B304 Lecture Theatre 1.
