29 November 2019

The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School offers students from universities around the world the chance to study at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº for three or six weeks in July and August and transfer credit back to their home institution.

Applications are now open for the 2020 ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School!

Students can enrol at the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School on Session 1Ìý(29 June–17 July), or Session 2 (20 July–7 August), or both Sessions, studying one module per Session. The programme is also open to current ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students and you can even take advantage of a 10% tuition fee discount!

This is a great opportunity to take a ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº module that you would not normally get the chance to study as part of your degree. Most modules are offered at Level 1 undergraduate (introductory) and for these modules; no prior subject knowledge is required. So, whether you are a maths student who wants to try out film studies; or a politics student who wants to learn some introductory economics, you are sure to find a module on the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School.

Summer 2019 saw over 700 students from 250 universities around the world enrol and 98% of surveyed students said they would recommend the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School to a friend. In 2020, the programme will offer over 80 bespoke modules from a wide range of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº departments.

All the relevant information on entry requirements, fees, dates and module syllabi can be found on the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School website. Interested students can apply using the site’s online portal and applications received before 2 MarchÌýwill be waived the £60 application fee. The deadline for applications is 1 JuneÌýbut modules do fill up on a first-come-first-served basis so early application is recommended.

This opportunity is open to all students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study by the time they enrol on the programme. 17 ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students joined the programme last year but it should be noted that ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students cannot use the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Summer School to earn credit towards their degree.
