Researchers from the Speech Communication Laboratory based in ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience want to clear up the mystery of why humans laugh.

To that end, they are developing a questionnaire on individual differences in laughter production and perception.

To determine which questions to include in their final questionnaire, they need help from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students. The anonymous preliminary questionnaire should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Participants will not only be helping science, but will also be encouraged to think about the importance of laughter in everyday life.
