¹û¶³Ó°Ôº is home to some incredible sights and places, ranging from fascinating museums to stunning spaces that have featured in Hollywood films.

Here's a top ten list of some of the most popular:

The is open between 8am and 9pm Monday to Friday, serving a variety of food and drink throughout the day and hosting a range of events at night.

Jeremy Bentham auto icon

Possibly the most popular face you'll meet at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº - Jeremy Bentham, a philosopher whose vision of 'a university open to all' came to fruition in 1826. Jeremy's auto-icon sits at the end of the South Cloisters - he's usually woken up at around 8am and put to sleep at 6pm, Monday to Friday.Ìý

Gordon Square

Gordon Square was developed in the 1820s by Thomas Cubitt and was originally only for the private use of local residents. These days the square is often teeming with ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students, especially when the sun's shining!

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Museums

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº has three museums: the , the and the . Each has a fantastic collection of artefacts/specimens, and a range of fun and fascinating events throughout the year.

Cruciform Building

The eye-catching, Grade II listed Cruciform Building, previously part of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Hospital, is now home to the Cruciform Hub and areas of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Life and Medical Sciences.

The Huntley

isÌý¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's very own pub and yet another Grade II listed building on campus. The Huntley hosts a wide range of social events and offers several student discounts and offers.

Main Library

The spectacular Donaldson Reading Room is located in the Main Library. The Donaldson Reading Room was ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's original library, built in 1849, and today it's one of many study facilities on offer to ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students.

Malet Place

Malet Place is one of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's main thoroughfares and a hive of activity during term time! It also hosts many exciting one-off events, including street parties.

Flaxman Gallery

The beautiful Flaxman Gallery features the largest single collection of works by British sculptor John Flaxman, including the full-scale 'St. Michael Overcoming Satan'. The Flaxman Gallery also featured in ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº alumnus Christopher Nolan's film Inception!Ìý

Main Quad

Number 1 on our countdown of popular ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº sights and places is… you guessed it - the Portico in the Main Quad: the most photographed, most iconic and most popular spot on campus.
