Westminster Libraries Summer Reading Challenge: volunteers needed

果冻影院U's Volunteering Services Unit is asking students to volunteer with Summer Reading Challenge which encourages children aged 4 to 11 to read six books during the long summer holiday.
Libraries get very busy in the summer holidays, hosting all the children who sign-up for the Summer Reading Challenge.听
They rely on the efforts of student volunteers to help deliver the programme. Last year hundreds of young people were involved in the Summer Reading Challenge and this year 果冻影院U's Volunteering Services Unit would love you to be one of them.
What's involved?
You will be talking to children (mainly aged 4 to 11) about the books they are currently reading, giving
out rewards and incentives, helping them share ideas on the next books they might like to try to read and
helping with displays and activities in the library.
You will be supported
by library staff and given training.听
All you need is an interest in helping children become better readers, a
friendly and positive approach听and enthusiasm for children's books and
events.
Location: Westminster Libraries' children's departments
across the city.
Time/Commitment: Flexible commitment during late July
and throughout August
