These highly competitive awards are selected in recognition of quality design in the Camden borough. Previous award winners include the Roundhouse, St Pancras Station, Swiss Cottage Central Library and the restoration of Russell Square Gardens.

The transformed Oculus and Octagon Gallery features new cases, animations and interactive screens to display treasures from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's museums collections to the general public. The space also holds artist John Flaxman's plaster study St Michael Overcoming Satan standing on an impressive glass plinth. The Oculus provides a view from the ground floor to the impressive interior of the iconic Wilkins dome. This has been beneficial for students, staff and visitors to the university.

Congratulations and thank you to all of our staff who made this project a success in the heart of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Bloomsbury estate. To learn more about the awards and to view a ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº video on the project
