Digital Humanities prize workshop supports ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Connections

Funding of £5,000 has been awarded to the winning entry from the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Digital Humanities month prize workshop.
¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Connections was designed by Jia Liu (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Archaeology), Emma Norris (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Epidemiology & Public Health), GeorgeÌýNeris (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Centre for Sustainable Heritage, Bartlett) and Peter Williams (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Information Studies) as part of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Digital Humanities month, supported by the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Grand Challenge of Intercultural Interaction. This support was made possible thanks to an award to the Grand Challenges from the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Annual Fund, which relies on the contributions of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº alumni to support scholarships, research and work across ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

The workshop
aimed to stimulate new insight into interaction between digital technology and
the humanities, and facilitate greater collaboration between academics working
in different disciplines. Digital Humanities month was convened by Melissa
Terras, Co-director of the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Centre for Digital Humanities.
