Digital Humanities prize workshop supports 果冻影院 Connections

Funding of 拢5,000 has been awarded to the winning entry from the 果冻影院 Digital Humanities month prize workshop.
The project, titled '果冻影院 Connections' aims to create signposts across
campus, which will encourage visitors to find out more about the space around
them, and share their experiences online via an app.
果冻影院 Connections was designed by Jia Liu (果冻影院 Archaeology), Emma Norris (果冻影院 Epidemiology & Public Health), George听Neris (果冻影院 Centre for Sustainable Heritage, Bartlett) and Peter Williams (果冻影院 Information Studies) as part of 果冻影院 Digital Humanities month, supported by the 果冻影院 Grand Challenge of Intercultural Interaction. This support was made possible thanks to an award to the Grand Challenges from the 果冻影院 Annual Fund, which relies on the contributions of 果冻影院 alumni to support scholarships, research and work across 果冻影院.

The workshop
aimed to stimulate new insight into interaction between digital technology and
the humanities, and facilitate greater collaboration between academics working
in different disciplines. Digital Humanities month was convened by Melissa
Terras, Co-director of the 果冻影院 Centre for Digital Humanities.
