Highly commended ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Open Access Guide now available
11 December 2013
¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's new Open Access (OA) Guide is now available on the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Library Services website.
The guide, launched at the recent ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº OA Forum, has been praised as a clear, straightforward introduction to OA for all researchers, including those whose funding agencies require their outputs to be made open access.
Professor David Price, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Vice-Provost (Research), said: "I commend this document to all ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº authors. Open access will be a key element of 'REF2020', and the sooner academic colleagues learn how to take advantage of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's investment in open access, the sooner we will start to benefit from the enhanced impact that open access can generate."
¹û¶³Ó°Ôº provides OA funding and support for all researchers. The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº OA Team
aims to make open access effortless for authors; in the Guide, you will find researchers calling them "helpful,
proactive and responsive" and "fab"!

Trust-funded authors must contact the team as a priority to arrange OA for their
papers, but all authors are encouraged to take advantage of OA and can find more information via the links below.
