果冻影院 Outreach: Summer Challenge 2013 - teaching opportunity for postgraduates and funding opportunity for departmental initiatives

Summer Challenge is a short academic course for Year 12 students which piloted in 2012 as part of the 果冻影院 Horizons programme.
It is designed to increase the number of high quality applications made to 果冻影院 by students from under-represented backgrounds, and to develop their independent research, critical thinking, academic writing and presentation skills. 果冻影院 Outreach is currently recruiting 果冻影院 postgraduates to be Summer Challenge 2013 tutors, and is also offering an opportunity for academic departments to apply for 拢1,300 in Outreach funding to run their own Summer Challenge courses.
The deadline for both types of applications is 7 January 2013.
