  • Thirty-three artists including Susan Collins, Simon Faithful and Martin John Callanan from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Slade School will send live broadcasts from fields direct to users' desktops as part of a live multimedia art project.

The project, entitled 'Field Broadcast' and co-curated by ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Slade School alumnus Rebecca Birch, is part of the WAC:PRESENTS exhibition currently on show at Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge. All the artists' works, whether video, animation, performance, sculpture or live data will be created in fields from 33 locations across the country with no editing or post-production.

Field Broadcast will be live 24 hours a day until Sunday May 16 allowing each broadcast to be viewed by a dispersed international audience at office desks, in cafes, on trains and at kitchen tables.

Times of individual broadcasts will not be published in advance and all broadcasts are live and will not be repeated.
