¹û¶³Ó°Ôº is hosting a discussion on the legacy of the Olympics called 'Growing a new piece of city: designing a legacy for 21st Century London'.

This panel discussion will explore how the 2012 Games is altering the landscape of East London and what transformation means.

Professor Matthew Gandy (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Geography), from the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Urban Laboratory, will chair the panel, which includes artist Lara Almarcegui and writer Iain Sinclair.

The event - part of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Grand Challenge of Sustainable Cities programme - will start at 6.30pm in the JZ Young Lecture Theatre on Tuesday 17 November.
