  • National Student Survey

There is still time for final-year undergraduate students to complete this year's National Student Survey (NSS) and have their say on their experience at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.Ìý

The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and is an opportunity to give feedback on all aspects of university life including:

    •ÌýÌýÌý course teaching
    •ÌýÌýÌý assessment and feedback
    •ÌýÌýÌý academic support
    •ÌýÌýÌý organisation and management
    •ÌýÌýÌý learning resources
    •ÌýÌýÌý personal development.

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº has received generally positive feedback from its students in previous surveys and wants to hear student views in 2008 on the educational experience received.Ìý Results of the survey will be available to prospective students and ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº is committed to act on the comments.

The survey is supported by HEFCE, the government funding agency, the universities and by the National Union of Students.

Professor Michael Worton, Vice-Provost (Academic & International) and Andy Fernando, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Union Education & Welfare Officer, urged students to complete the survey: "The NSS provides you with the chance to give feedback on your experience at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº. The results and feedback from the NSS help ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº and ¹û¶³Ó°ÔºU in providing a better academic experience for students."

To complete the survey, or to read the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº and ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Union joint statement on the survey, please use the links at the top of this article.
