Alison Woodhams will take up her new position in October. Her previous appointments at the BBC include Group Financial Controller, Head of Internal Audit, and Head of Finance at BBC English Regions. She has also held positions at AT&T ISTEL & Cadbury Typhoo.

ÌýProfessor Malcolm Grant, ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's President & Provost, said: "¹û¶³Ó°Ôº has an annual turnover of almost £600 million and is one of the top UK research-intensive universities.
