Department of Renal Medicine Patient Partnership Group

The Department of Renal Medicine Patient Partnership Group (DoRM PPG) is a group of Royal Free Hospital renal patients, and Royal Free Hospital renal clinicians who meet several times a year to discuss potential renal research project designs and grant applications.

This lay/patient group has been set up for听renal patients and renal clinicians to听come together to discuss听some of the following:

  • Lay/patient input into research project design and grant applications
  • Facilitate听surveys/questionnaires of specific patient groups to inform the research agenda
  • Communicate research results to the patient and carer population
  • Identify听patients to undertake specific roles in research (e.g. patient co-applicants or committee members)
