Thurga R Navaseelan

Biography

Thurga Navaseelan is currently a visiting researcher at NSL (Nanoengineered Systems Lab) at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº. Prior to this, she completed her BEng at King’s College London in Biomedical Engineering, followed by her MSc at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. She joined NSL as an MSc student for her individual research project and dissertation.

BEng: Fabrication of an Anatomical Phantom Model to Assess the Performance of Novel Intraoperative Optical Imaging Systems in Neurosurgery

MSc: A Fingertip Phantom to Study the Effect of Biomechanics in the Perception of Material Stiffnesses – as a part of the Sensorised Force Glove project

Misc: Neurosurgical training head and spine phantoms, Foetal head phantoms

I am continuing work related to my MSc, the force-sensorised glove and other phantom-based projects.
