Description

To pass the BASC0027 Shell Units module, you must complete all the required engagement activities:

  • Pass 70% of the required credit load at the host institution (this includes regular attendance for your courses and participating in exams)Ìý

  • Submission of the Year Abroad Declaration formÌý

  • Submission of a course choice formÌý

  • Submission of the arrival and departure formÌý

  • Submission of the 400-word Reflective PieceÌý

  • Submission of a transcript from your host institutionÌý

The penalties for failing to satisfy the above requirements are as follows:Ìý

Failure to pass or complete the shell units (BASC0027) will result in the student being transferred to the three year degree programme (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Reg Chapter 4, Point 9.2) and will be awarded an alternative degree title upon graduation. This alternative degree title will reflect the fact that a student has not fulfilled all the requirements of the BASc with Study Abroad.Ìý

Failure to pass or complete the Study Abroad Project (BASC0035) will mean you will carry the Fail on your transcript. You cannot re-sit the assignment.Ìý
