David Fajgenbaum
David Fajgenbaum, MD, MBA, MSc, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, co-Founder & President of the , and national bestselling author of '. He is also a patient battling a deadly disease called idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD), which he discovered a treatment for that is saving his life and others.听Through his work at the University of Pennsylvania's , he has also identified and/or advanced 9 other treatment approaches for iMCD and cancer. Fajgenbaum currently leads over 20 translational research studies including the CORONA Project, which is the world鈥檚 largest effort to identify, track, and advance COVID-19 treatments. He also leads a public-private initiative to apply his drug repurposing approach to discover treatments for many more diseases and serves on the Board of Directors for the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA. 听
