CANDI

Computer Assisted Navigation, Diagnosis and Intervention (CANDI) is a research group applying artificial intelligence, computational modelling and software engineering on surgical procedures and medical interventions. We aim to translate our methodologies and innovations to improve surgical navigation, disease diagnosis and minimally invasive interventions.

We are members of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC)Ìýand Wellcome/EPSRC Centre for Interventional and Surgical SciencesÌý(WEISS).ÌýOur research spans across multidisciplinaryÌýapplications including those for prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, fetal medicine, interventional radiology.

We are always looking for bright minds to join our team as postgraduate students or postdoctoral research fellows. Full scholarships are available through the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent, Integrated Imaging In Healthcare (i4health), among other opportunities. Please get in touch for further information.
