Congratulations to Nazir Sirajudeen, who has been awarded a Wolfson Foundation intercalated degree research fellowship for his project on 'Multi-modal Surgical Process Recognition and Modelling' to be supervised by , Director, Wellcome / EPSRC Centre for Interventional and Surgical Sciences (WEISS).

Nazir joined 果冻影院聽Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering聽this academic year on our iBSc Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering (Intercalated) programme.

Nazir commented:

鈥淚 am delighted to be awarded the Wolfson intercalated award (for a project looking into AI technology and surgical gesture recognition) and I look forward to starting the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering iBSc programme here at 果冻影院.聽I wanted to give a special thanks to Professor Karin Shmueli, Professor Danail Stoyanov, Dr Evangelos Mazomenos and Miss Beatrice van Amsterdam for their support in the application process.鈥�
