Biography

London Barrister and QC, and one of the devisees-in-trust and executors of his uncle by marriage Sir Rose Price (q.v.), who made claims for his estates in Jamaica but died 29/09/1834. 聽Younger son of Charles 2nd Earl Talbot (q.v.) and Frances or Francine Lambert (daughter of Charles Lambert of Beau Parc Meath). Rose Price had married a Miss Lambart of an Irish family in 1798, another daughter of Charles Lambert.

  1. Born 31/05/1806, Charterhouse and Christ Church Oxford (BA 1827, MA). Barrister Middle Temple (called 1836). 聽Married 1830 to Hon. Caroline, daughter of James, 1st Baron Wharncliffe, Recorder of London. Attorney-General to Prince of Wales 1844-death, Recorder of Windsor 1836-death.聽QC 1843, Bencher of Middle Temple 1843-death. Deputy High Steward of Oxford University. Said to earn legal fees of 拢15,000 p.a. 聽Died 25/05/1852 at Brighton, of Great George Street and Middle Temple. Left 拢100,00 'within province' (PCC). Will of the Honourable John Chetwynd Talbot, barrister at law, one of Her Majesty's Counsel of Middle Temple Middlesex proved 24/06/1852.
