Daughter of Charles John Warner of Bequia, who left her 拢5000.

  1. Will of Charles Maria Warner wife of [Moneyers Street, Hoxton in the parish of] St Leonard Shoreditch was [made 21/04/1828] proved 28/06/1828. She opened the will by reciting that she was late the wife of Lieutenant Stephen Briggs RN from whom she had obtained a divorce. Under her marriage settlement she had she said the power to dispose of 拢5000 left to her by her father, and she accordingly left 拢2000 to Phebe Chitty then residing with her and the other 拢3000 and her residuary estate to Edmund Ludlow of the Borough of Southwark.
