Biography

Liverpool timber merchant and slave-trader.

  1. Will of Thomas Moss merchant of Liverpool proved 11/05/1805. He had he said given 拢10,000 to his son John and 拢5000 each on his daughters Margaret and Ellen upon their respective marriages, and he accordingly left 拢10,000 each to his other two children, Henry and James. He then left a further 拢10,000 to each of his sons and 拢7000 to each of his two daughters. He had a share in a lead works in Liverpool which he left to his sons with one half of his quarter share of the profit to go to his wife.
