Claimant as tenant-for-life on a group of enslaved people in Calliaqua. She was reported in the compensation records to have died in 1839, but has not been further traced by LBS. It is possible that she was the natural daughter Emilia identified in a deed of Dr. Robert Glasgow (q.v.). In the Slave Registers for St Vincent an enslaved girl given as Mina or Minna born c. 1828 was registered by Amelia Glasgow in 1828 and by Amelia Theobalds in 1834.

John Glasgow had a sister (confusingly also called Amelia or Emilia) but this is not the same person as Amelia Theobalds (née Glasgow), since the former was residing in the UK and her married name was Wilson. John Glasgow's last will and testament names his sister Amelia Wilson (née Glasgow) and her children as his primary financial heirs. To them, he directed to profits of the sale of the enslaved men in his copper-smithing business in Kingstown. But he named another Amelia Glasgow, his 'housekeeper', as a beneficiary for the term of her natural life. Amelia Glasgow is listed as a 'free black woman' so she may have been his common law wife. She received the house in Calliaqua (outside Kingstown) and a small group of enslaved people, for her use for the term of her natural life but not to bequeath herself. It is possible that Amelia Glasgow (the sister) and her daughter contested this and were trying to gain the house for themselves.
