Daughter of John Allen Olton (q.v), from whom she inherited 拢250 p.a. for life and 拢5000 in trust. With her husband Thomas Dunkin of Boulogne she claimed unsuccessfully for the compensation for the Harrow estate on Barbados. Thomas Dunkin died near Bordeaux in 1861 leaving 拢9000. Mary Dunkin nee Olton predeceased him, dying in 1858 at Bordeaux, when he was shown as of Thomas Dunkin & Son of Bordeaux and Madras. No probate has yet been found for Mary Dunkin nee Olton.
